Linked Walks
Short Walks from the River Avon Trail
The project has mapped five short and varied circular walks in the Avon Valley that allow you to explore places of interest and see outstanding views. Details are shown on the relevant information panels on the Trail and also on the map pages in the River Avon Trail guide book (download):
- Paradise Bottom – Leigh Woods
- Merchants Walk – Historic Bristol
- Panorama Walk – Avon Valley Woodlands Local Nature Reserve**
- North Stoke – Cotswold Hills
- Beechen Cliff – Panoramic Views of Bath
**Please note: The correct location for the information panel on the Panorama Walk is at the south-west corner of the circuit rather than as marked in the River Avon Trail booklet.
